3 Tips for the Bournemouth Air Show
This year the Bournemouth Air Festival is running from Thursday 20th – Sunday 23rd August. That’s four whole days of sun, sea, sand and planes! Bournemouth is beautiful at this time of the year, but it can be a confusing place if it’s your first time. At Brooklands we’ve come up with some great tips for visitors to the air show:
Stay near the air show
Bournemouth Air Show is a visual spectacle of extreme aerial acrobatics and mechanical expertise, and you’d hate to miss even a tiny part of that. To stop that from happening, you need to be well placed with your accommodation. Brooklands Hotel is just a short stroll away from the beach and the town centre so you won’t miss out on anything!
Although August is typically the hottest month of the year, Bournemouth’s microclimate delivers more consistent and slightly hotter weather than the rest of the UK. This means that you have to take extra care when going out. Make sure you have a bottle of water on-hand and wear a hat and sunscreen – even in shaded areas.
Grab a spot early in the morning
Nobody likes wandering ages to find that perfect spot on the beach. Make things easier by staying close to the beach in the first place. Brooklands bed and breakfast is perfectly situated to provide accommodation in Bournemouth with minimal fuss and travel. Staying nearby means a gentle stroll to the beach opposed to an hour trying to find a parking space!
Bournemouth Air Show Accommodation
Brooklands Hotel provides bed and breakfast accommodation within walking distance to the beach and the town centre. Call 01202 552 887 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for information on our Bournemouth bed and breakfast accommodation.
